Water Authority hosts open house to celebrate 10th Anniversary!

(Ledgeview, WI) – The Central Brown County Water Authority’s 10th anniversary is upon us, and it’s marking the occasion by inviting the public to help celebrate!

The Authority is hosting an open house on Monday, October 9th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Water Authority’s new water storage towers at 1903 Scray Hill Road in Ledgeview.

“This is a significant milestone for the Authority,” said Authority manager Dave Vaclavik. “It’s hard to believe that it’s been ten years since the system first went into service. We encourage residents to attend and help us celebrate and learn more about the water they use every day and what it takes to get it to their homes.”

During the open house, attendees will be able to learn about the Water Authority’s operations, where our water comes from and the process for treating it. There will also be tips provided on water conservation. Cake and refreshments will be served.

In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will be moved to the Town of Ledgeview Municipal Building at 3700 Dickenson Road.

The Central Brown County Water Authority supplies water to its six member communities comprised of Allouez, Bellevue, De Pere, Howard, Lawrence, and Ledgeview.
